The 2025 Oatmeal Festival takes place Saturday, September 27, 2025, filling downtown Bertram, Texas with music, parades, games, and small-town fun that’s been celebrated for decades. Whether you’ve been coming for years or you’re planning your very first trip, this festival is the perfect way to experience the heart and humor of the Texas Hill Country.
🌄 Kick Off the Day with True Texas Traditions
- Trail Ride – Saddle up and ride from the Oatmeal Schoolhouse along scenic FM 243 into Bertram.
- Run for Your Oats 5K – Lace up your sneakers and join this high-energy race that’s fun for the whole family.
- Oatmeal Pet Parade – Dress up your furry friends, show off your creativity, and parade down Vaughan Street in style.
🎭 Don’t Miss the Grande Parade & Escondido Trail Riders
The Grande Parade is a festival highlight! Expect colorful floats, marching bands, local groups, and the always-popular Escondido Trail Riders, whose dancing horses will once again captivate the crowd.
🎶 Live Music All Day on the Festival Stage
From morning through evening, the Festival Stage will feature incredible live performances by local and regional artists. Bring your chair, enjoy festival eats, and soak in the sounds of Texas music throughout the day.
And don’t miss the FREE Street Dance Under the Stars when the sun goes down:
