Why the Pet Parade is a Must-Attend Event
The parade brings together pet lovers from across Central Texas. Whether your companion has fur, feathers, or scales, they’re welcome to strut, trot, or waddle into the spotlight.
Expect creative costumes, wagging tails, and maybe even oats-inspired accessories—bonus points if your pet channels breakfast vibes!
Tip: Arrive early to see pets during registration and mingle with other animal enthusiasts.

- Most Oat-standing – Best overall
- Most Oat-rageous – Boldest, funniest, most over-the-top looks
- Biggest Show B-oat – Pets with flair and confidence

Event Schedule
- Registration: 9:00 a.m. (All participants must register by emailing events@hchstexas.com
- Judging: 9:30 a.m.
- Parade Route: 10:00 a.m., down Vaughan Street to the Festival Stage
After judging, the parade rolls out so the crowd can cheer for their favorite four-legged (or two-winged!) stars.
