🐴 Trail Ride

  • Time: 8:00 am – 10:00 am
  • Location: Oatmeal Community Center → Panther Park
  • Description: Riders depart from Oatmeal Community Center and travel into Bertram, arriving in time for the Grande Parade.

🎉 Grande Parade

  • Time: 10:30 am – 11:30 am
  • Location: Vaughan Street
  • Description: Colorful floats, marching bands, community groups, and parade entries. Enjoy the Oatmeal Festival Car Show lineup leading the parade.

🏃 3.3 Mile Run for Your Oats

  • Time: 8:00 – 9:30 am (Participant check-in, late registration, and race)
  • Location: Festival Stage
  • Description: Fun run for participants of all ages. Stay afterward for refreshments and awards before enjoying the rest of the festival.

🐾 Pet Parade

  • Time: 9:00 – 10:15 am
  • Location: Johnnie Mae Wheeler Park → Festival Stage
  • Description: Bring your pets dressed in their cutest outfits. Winners announced immediately after the parade.

🍰 Oatmeal Bake-Off

  • Time: 9:30 am – 2:00 pm
  • Location: Bertram Volunteer Fire Dept (entry drop-off & judging), Festival Stage (winners announced)
  • Description: Celebrate culinary creativity with the annual Oatmeal Bake-Off. Entries judged mid-day with winners announced afterward.

🎲 Oatmeal Fest Wacky Games

  • Time: 12:00 – 2:00 pm (Registration 11:30 am – 12:00 pm)
  • Location: East Vaughan St
  • Entry Fee: $1.00 per game, per participant
  • Games Include: Goat Pill Pop-Off, Cow-Chip Kick-Off, Tortilla Toss, Egg Spoon Race, Egg Toss, Stick Horse Race
  • Notes: Silly, spirited fun for all ages—join in the action or cheer on friends!

🕹️ Washer Tournament

  • Time: 12:00 – 2:00 pm
  • Location: SE Corner of City Hall Back Parking Lot off South St
  • Description: Classic backyard competition—cheer for friends and family in this entertaining tournament.

🧒 Kids Zone

  • Time: 12:00 – 4:00 pm
  • Location: Johnnie Mae Wheeler Park
  • Description: Self-guided outdoor play with Yard Jenga, Four Across, Oatmeal Dig, sidewalk chalk, jump ropes, hula hoops, and more. Free admission.

🎨 Live Art & Raffle

  • Time: 12:00 – 4:00 pm
  • Location: Vaughan St across from Johnnie Mae Park
  • Along with the live art, we will be raffling off a beautiful print created by Sara Mack. Tickets can be purchased at the Artist Couple Booth, located at the NW corner of Gabriel & Vaughan Street.
    • Tickets: $2 each
    • Winner announced: 4 PM
    • Attendance: You don’t need to be present to win

🎶 Live Music

  • Time: 12:00 – 5:00 pm
  • Location: Festival Stage
  • Performances:
    • 12:00 – 1:00 pm: Kathryn Wood – Begin the afternoon with Kathryn’s soulful acoustic set, blending heartfelt lyrics and emotive melodies. Her intimate style sets the perfect tone for the festival, inviting attendees to relax and immerse themselves in music.
    • 1:15 – 2:15 pm: Levi Fowler – Levi Fowler brings Western and Americana influences, telling stories of life, love, and the open road through his engaging performances. His set is perfect for festivalgoers seeking reflective, yet lively music.
    • 2:30 – 3:30 pm: Zoe Carter -Zoe Carter brings a fresh, soulful sound that blends indie, folk, and Americana influences. Her heartfelt lyrics and melodic storytelling captivate audiences, creating an intimate connection even in a festival setting. Zoe’s performance invites attendees to experience both reflective moments and uplifting rhythms, making her set a highlight of the Oatmeal Festival’s live music lineup.
    • 3:45 – 4:45 pm: Tomzap – Closing the afternoon, Tomzap performs classic rock and country covers, inviting sing-alongs and foot-tapping fun. Their nostalgic energy ensures the audience stays connected and entertained.

🌮 BBQ Lunch Fundraiser

  • Time: 11:30 am – 2:30 pm (until sold out)
  • Location: In Food Court Behind City Hall (off Grange St)
  • Description: Support the festival scholarship fundraiser while enjoying a delicious BBQ lunch.

🚗 Car Show

  • Time: 12:00 – 4:00 pm (Line-up 11:30 am is not participating in Grande Parade)
  • Location: W Vaughan Street
  • Description: Classic, vintage, and custom cars on display. Great for families and photographers.

🐾 Grits Guzzler & Oatie

  • Time: Throughout the morning
  • Location: Festival Grounds
  • Description: Watch for Oatie and Grits Guzzler as they mingle with crowds, pose for photos, and interact with festival-goers.

💃 Evening Street Dance

  • Time: 7:00 – 10:00 pm
  • Location: Festival Stage
  • Performances:
    • 7:00 – 8:00 pm: The Steel Belts
      A lively fusion of bluegrass, rock, country, and blues that gets everyone moving.
    • 8:30 – 10:00 pm: Jarrod Birmingham
      South Texas country at its raw, authentic best. Jarrod’s storytelling songs resonate deeply with fans of traditional Texas country music.
